[Wanted] Rapier Sankey Trailer Parts Catalogue

Long shot here guys.

Trying to do some work on my brother's Rapier Sankey Trailer FV2410 and wondered if anyone has a parts list for the same? We have got issues with wheel bearings.

This is before we start looking for spare parts Big Cry

Any and all pointers appreciated.

Images to help:

Looking for this or similar?

Thank you - getting close Thumbs Up

I have several different 3/4 ton handbooks now but not the 1 ton. The Rapier trailer (FV 2410) has a different (beefed-up) axle assembly to carry the now obsolete missile system.

Still looking.

Cheers.

I was going to suggest this was added to the wiki but then spotted the r-word at bottom of cover sheet.

crazy that a mechanical trailer handbook was classed as restricted but I guess as its a Rapier trailer then anything to do with that system was at minimum restricted regardless of what it was.

we had similar with the VSC501 trailers (that's 1970's military satellite tech that was in service up to early 2000's). Trailer was specific to the 501 system as was the Defender that towed it.

looks like it's only the pages with the "weapon" version that are classified ?

let's see what can be done Smile

as it's available to purchase on www.lrseries.com, I don't see that it is still "restricted"

edit: partial success (so far) ... added link to LRSeries in the Wiki.

now to find out how to insert the catalogue itself ... after today's remote learning support is over Laughing

as rapier is now long since gone in that form the trailer docs will be derestricted by now so you should have no worries. Its still in service but will be largely different in almost every way so the trailer info is declassified

pdf file is too big to upload so I've exported it to jpg files then zipped them up and put it in the Wiki.

can someone confirm it's available for download ?
