[Wanted] Rock/tree sliders

Looking for some decent rock or tree sliders.

Keen on some that stand off a bit from the body to protect from door bashers.

That’ll be tree sliders then you’ll be looking for.

I fitted Shire Fabrications ones to mine. Easy to fit and robust. Saved the sills and sides from nasty rocks on more than one occasion.

Cheers guys! I've been reading about the Shire ones and heard quite a few people complaining about poor paint and a lot of rust issues. Have you found that with yours?

How much are the ones from Andy? Do you have any pictures of what they look like on?

The paint was a bit thin but they got so scratched up from doing their job any paint or powdercoat would have been just as bad. I waxoyled both the sill and the inside edge of sliders before I put them on.
I have sold the car so cant comment on longevity but they certainly did what I needed them to do to protect the car Thumbs Up

I've gone for custom wildbear sliders just because they are sport on with quality and finish

I am selling a set of Wildbear rock sliders with tree bars
In relation to the finish you are correct, the powder coat fell off after a month or two so I had them blasted and galvanised, acid etch primed and then painted with black non slip raptor bed liner.
Also put closed cell foam behind to form a gasket.
They are as new and I am looking at £250 for them collected from Newcastle under lyme.
Jez
Including all bolts and a new roll of epidemics foam (£40 alone)

Cheers Jez! Sounds like you've spared no expense on the paint Thumbs Up

Would you say these are super heavy duty? I won't be doing a great deal of climbing over trees and rocks so don't want to be lugging around tons of weight.

Yes -they are as heavy duty as can be and are heavy but they do protect the sills from getting bashed, these will last forever due to the galv.

They look absolutely mint! I'd love to take them but collection is a bit too far for me Big Cry

Happy for pwheeldon to take dibs on them.
