Kaymar has a URL ...... I don't want to got for a double. BTW, have another friend that is building a Titan clone and he is also looking for a single. Northern Off-Road has indicated that if I leave my van for a week, they will built a tank to fit under the vehicle where the spare sits .....at 1/3 of the Metzkar price 8)

BTW, where are you based?

Yeah, I knew you'd ask, so I edited the post with all the info. Just had to find it in my archive folders first.
Based in Kyalami, right close to Front Runner, work in Halfway House

Aubrey, the Kaymar can be fitted with either single or double carriers. Have a look at the website. Alternatively PM me with your email address and I can send the brochure

Found it and yes, looks cool. However, I have decided againt the ARB front bar so tanking up the rear is not planned. If I go for the steel rear, I will also go for the ARB.

Experience has taught me that adding all that weight comes at the price of gas mileage and handling. On older vehicles, weight adds to breaking things sooner.

Thinking of getting the unit from Frogs in mid Feb unless better option/price becomes available. UK will likely wake up in an hour or so Rolling Eyes

BTW, I am in Ruimsig.

Actually the Matzker looks a lot better IMO.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Also not keen on armourplating the bumpers.
So let's get the best deal then

Hi Aubrey

With our next Africa trip coming up in June, I need to start making a plan to get that wheel carrier and long range tank. I am very keen on the matzker.
Have you made a decision yet?

My main fear is that the wheel carrier will shake itself off the bumper on the roads in Bots
