[Wanted] VUU500110 - DRIVINGLAMP FIXING KIT TO BUMPER DISCO3

As per title, i like to mount a pair of round spot light units i allready have.

I have all the genuine LR wiring and switch etc.

But still need the mounting hardware on / in the bumper

Anyone with a spare kit around? I would be grateful for any help/kit.
 Best regards
Harold

For spot lights or fog lights?

Different things fitted in different places.

Hi, well the Partnumber is for spotlights/driving lamp mounting kit

There is no mounting kit for explicit fog lights Confused As far as i know atleast, but also do not need those.. Wink thanks..

Since some UK LR suppliers like https://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/104...iscovery_3 Advertise them as FOG LAMP FIXING KIT others as DRIVING LAMP Mounting kit, i I did mention both designations..

What i can find is this LR partnumber, now obsolete @ LR... VUU500110

This is the part fitted to my car. I'm sure it would be easy enough to get something similar made.

Others have fitted the driving lamps in other ways.

Hi, yes that IS the mounting kit...! (Or the most important part of it)

But since i do not have the measurements, or drawings, it is easyer to buy a set. If available..

But if someone can supply drawings /exact details, i can ask Some one to make them.. No problem..

I can do a lot, but welding is not one of my skills...

As i have a business and even in these difficult times, a lot of orders and work to do, For customers, i simply do not have the time to make the measurements myself without a proper example...

So if you or someone can supply me with the exact measurements i will be very happy!

Thnx, but I doubt that... they are not offered as a replacement for the D3 kit either..

Till someone confirms otherwise..

Quite expensive Also tbh... double the price of a D3 kit...

Motolab, have you seen the pdf of the fitting instructions.

These are not a 'plug and play', you need to drill the metal bumper bar, fit 8 rivnuts, cut circular hole on the top of the plastic bumper etc, etc.

So looking at that picture of the D4's I'm sure they may not be direct replacement but unless there is a large difference between the steel part of the bumper between a 3 and 4 then I'm not sure what major obstacles there would be to fitting them instead.

Also what lamps are you fitting LR ones or another brand?

I have part of a kit left over from fitting mine. I had an after market bumper, so couldn’t use these bits.

Any good to you? If so make me an offer.

Well, John P supplied me with the metal parts from this kit!

A very nice gesture from him, thanks John!

If there is someone here who can help me with the (plastic?) covering parts, meant to be mounted between the steel pillars and the Spotlights, please tell me..

Much appreciated!
 Best regards

It's the RS500 one (I think) fitted by Disco Mikey several years ago.
