[Wanted] Waterproof D3 cover

I’m looking for a waterproof cover for my D3 as I’m due to go away for 3 months for work and it will just be sitting outside.

Having looked online they are eyewateringly expensive! If anyone has one lying around that they would be willing to part with I’d be most appreciative.

I'm not a fan of car covers. The plastic ones trap moisture inside, and will keep the car wet for weeks, breathable ones are slightly better.
The biggest issue is that they will all flap in the wind, and will mark the paint.

My view would be to just leave it outside!

I see where you are coming from, my biggest worry is that with it sat gathering leaves that I’ll come back to soggy foot wells and a smelly car. As was the case last year!

Good luck Zack

Like rrhool I would leave it uncovered.

Can you not get someone to give it TLC whilst you are away & keep an eye on it?

I always like to start my (classic) cars every few weeks, and preferably drive them for 20-30 minutes if the weather is reasonable, but never in the wet, or within a week of the roads being salted.
