Anderson connectors are genderless connectors.
For jump starting better to use something like the Anderson SB 175. These connectors are rated at currents of 175 amps continuous or up to a 1,000 for about 8 seconds.
Cable sizing? As a rule of thumb for larger diameter cable it is 7-8 amps/mm2 of copper cable cross section area.

Edited to add be careful with buying off that infamous website. A few years ago I was shown some cheap ‘Anderson’ connectors, and the guy showing them could not understand why I burst out laughing. The contacts were as rough as a dogs rear end which would mean poor electrical connection between the contacts with risk of micro sparking. The plastic appeared to be thinner and more brittle than the genuine Anderson. However I was told they were cheaper than Anderson connectors
Cable size, minimum 25mm2 but I prefer 35mm2 copper cables. Fitted with fully insulated crocodile clips with connecting strap between the two halves of croc clips rated at 300 amps. Without connecting strap those crocodile clips are only 170 amp rated.

The grey 175s are great things, all our trucks have them and we use them all the time for tail lifts/jump starting/charging etc.
Got them on all my cars, fitted I should add before I staretd my current job!
