Rob,
I have put a 9500 in. That was tite, and a real pain on my own.
If I ever do it again another pair of hands is vital , it was heavy and dificult but the result was fine
So what ever you do , DO NOT do it on your own

Rob,
I have a 9500lb in the ARB Bar installed by ARB. I was thinking about doing some winch maintenace and was wondering if I needed to remove the bar to get the winch out. ARB seemed to think I need to. You obviously have some experience with both the bar and winch. Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks

Haggis,
You dont have to remove ARB bull bar to remove 9500 winch.
All very tite not much room, remove bottom stone guards, and it comes out directly down.
I gess it may depend on the brand you have. When ARB install a bar with a winch the winch is fixed to the bar first. I purchased the ARB winch bar first and later fitted the winch. I did not remove the bar to do it, so it should come out the same way. The bolts were very dificult to do up, but I assume they would be easy to remove.
In doing so I used every sware word I knew and some my teenagers use !
Its possible, give it a go and dont give up, also its heavy , some help is needed.
