For policies expiring by 7th March 2021, policy will be renewed with the same conditions.
From 8th March onwards you will be contacted by the new owners of WD with your options.

I find the second set of pics more blurry actually. The first ones are sharper on my laptop screen anyway.
Thanks for the advice , I'm wondering about renewing 3 months early with them to get in before the March date. Might be worth it to get the same service.Gary

How u do that
Just go into the “img” code and delete the “normal_” bit from each. Simples.
PS As above, I was too busy eating dinner!

Got my letter from WD yesterday. Be interesting to see what the takeover company have to offer. I need to check whether they have any history of warranties with other brands (if they own any). Loathe to go with a company with no track record and no reviews. Having said that, perhaps in the early years they may try to impress.Gary

This is the company that has bought the Warranty Direct brand:
It will be interesting to see what offering they create in the marketplace and where they position themselves.

Agree. Full of mixed messages advising in the 'What we do' section they are a B2B provider working with companies to distribute warranty and general insurance to their customers. Then a bit further down a section called 'Direct to consumer' stating ' we sell and broker insurance and related products direct to consumers using modern media'.
They sell and adminster Automotion Warranty. I used it to do a quote for my 2015 Discovery with 37,000 miles . Quote £980 for a year with £50 excess. Including; Gold Coverage, AA roadside, MOT test insurance, multimedia. I clicked on gold coverage and in the description Crankshaft and main bearings are specifically mentioned as covered.Gary

I suppose it's similar in set up to BNP Paribas arranging and administering warranty cover, trading as Warranty Direct, and their warranties being underwritten by Pinnacle insurance.
The good thing is, it's an insurance based product.Gary
