Warranty Direct Pay out on Park Brake fail |
|
5 hour labour @ £59.5
Plus 70 % of Park Brake Modulator £492.39 - £147.72 = £344.67
Still had to pay for new discs, pads, and shoe.
All in all made a dire situation into a crappy situation!!!
Not heard of them paying a proportion of the part? Anyone else had this, should I argue the toss, or be thankful for what they have agreed to pay?

The Landrover Warranty will pay for the whole lot if the disc and pads are damaged due to the failure.

I think it's all down to mileage and age. I would have thought it is written down somewhere. Owning a 2005 D3 renders after market warranties pretty useless in my opinion, which is why I've never bothered. Quids in at the moment but with a D3 that could quickly change Discovery 4 HSE

You won't have the deduction from parts if you took out "no betterment", otherwise you have a slice deducted.

Just seen it in the terms and conditions "betterment".
70,000 to 80,000 parts covered at 70%.
Will stick with what I have got.
