Warranty Direct Quote, how do I rate? |
|
Just a quick question for the WD holders I have been quoted £589 for Luxury Care cover for 13months on my MY08 28K on the clock.
Roadside assist through AXA for an extra £79 Oh and free MOT at Kwickfut
Is this competetive or should I keep haggling
Many thanks in advance.

Personally I'd say that was a pretty good price - I paid £499 for the next level down

Hi apologies for asking but what is meant by 'no bettlerment'?
Thinking of one of these myself.

Both standard on Luxurycare, with no betterment up to 60K miles. Excess is £50 as standard The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

As Andy says but it is possible to take the policy with 'no excess' instead of £50 a claim.
You just need to negotiate it at time of purchase. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

I've just taken a policy out with them today.
They quoted first of all £692, left it a few days then it dropped to £599. This is for the luxury care with the added air bag and emissions. Didn't quite manage the no excess but I got it halved to £25. They are also holding this price and package if I want to renew next year.
Simon.

This is what I found on a definition: http://collisionprofit.com/AF%20Docs/AmFam...0Guide.pdf
Please correct me this is to prevent you paying cost of the difference in value added of a part fitted in relation to part it replaced? A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

I'm just considering an offer from WD at £580 covering Luxury Care, Air Bag and emissions, 13 months, main dealer (although i need to clarify this). They didn't move on W&T at 90 days and excess at £50. My D3 is a HSE 2006 on 37k so no betterment is inc.
Having read the forum it seems a reasonable opening offer but think 30 W&T and £25 excess sounds better. We'll see how the next conversation goes.
