Well here’s my dilemma or extended warranty runs out in March renewal costs for 12 months with European breakdown cover £1350, or do I try a different company warranty direct £3500 for three years for everything or shall I cut the cover, to bring down the cost ??? Looking for advice on what to purchase car is at 69,000 miles

I kept ours up along with dealer service so when last November our 9 year old D4 snapped a crankshaft the JLR recommended warranty people stepped in and took full control along with our brilliant dealer (Beadles of Sidcup and JLR we were rescued from a hazardoussituation
an d , taken on to our holiday destinationsituation. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\we were givn a hire car plus a up to date new engine for our \d4 all at no cost to us - approx. £18000 worth of work I am told. To me it is a no brainer and I have again renewed our full extended warranty LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

On my D4 I just took core cover for the crankshaft, if it’s been a good one then just put a bit aside. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
