Warranty Direct have been excellent for me. Like all these things, read the small print, evaluate the risk/gamble/hedge and then decide if it's right for you. Last year, the policy easily paid for itself. This year the car's not missed a beat, but it helps me sleep at night 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

[quote="chalky"]Yeah nice one ! I found your comment as helpful as the other 207 which you posted !
What you mean, my comment where i was agreeing with a previous posters comment? where if you think about it for the price of it and knowing it isnt a covered( he has been told) item as per the website then then no, it isnt worth the hassle. But then again if the op had of taken the time to check the WD website as i did he would have known that wouldnt he.

Ian thanks for the offer mate but dropped on one on eBay tonight at a very reasonable price but just incase something happens like Oh I don't know packingstrip gets a life then I should be ok thanks, but thanks for the offer that's what forums like this are for
Right then packingstrips might as well be like you and spend my time typing on her to explain myself,
1. At what point did I actually moan? I believe I just stated a fact in the conversation I had with WD
2. As I am on iPhone NOT laptop or home computer (as stated I am working away) certain things I cannot bring up on iPhone and at certain times because I am mobile I cannot get Internet
3. I simply asked if anyone else had had issues with this claim
4. Please accept my deepest appologise if for one moment I may have offended you by you thinking I was moaning I do hope you sleep well tonight
5. This is where members come to discuss things about what has happened when experiencing something like this, it is called sharing advice and information
6. I have now been able to check the Internet since getting back on station and after swmbo has informed me which policy I have with WD and I do believe it is covered
That's about it with the facts,
god my fingers and hands are aching now after all the typing but I guess you must be used to using your hands/fingers sitting at your computer designing the finger
