Water in the drivers footwell. |
|
D4 59 GS. Had air con on today, warm and humid. Water coming down from side of gearbox, inside the cabin into drivers foot well? Carpet very wet so has been happening a while I guess. Will be a warrenty job, however, am I the only one? Suggestions? D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

Would suggest air con drain tube detached, should be a simple fix.

Had same problem on a TD5, and it wes a blocked air con pipe. Needed new carpets throughout as they went mouldy.

Yeap - I had this on my RRS few years back - little drain pipe come adrift from A/C unit in footwell. CJB

Thanks for the suggestions chaps, had thought it might be that as the water appeared clean. Hope the fix is not a dash out job ! D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

Don't think it will be. I'm not familiar with D4.
Likely behind carpets in footwell down from side of heater / a/c, on 'wet' side of course. CJB
