Water in Fuel --- Information warning on dash

The following warning / information note 'Water in fuel' has appeared on my information panel. Shocked

Is this anything to worry about? The warning goes off after a few mins.

I have not been anywhere that should have caused any problems for a beast like the D3!

Will refueling and running the car clear any water lying in the fuel lines or does it need a filter change?

Diesel is inherant to contain water somehow, and happens alot. I aint sure if the D3 has one, but a TD5 did, on the fuel filter there is a tap/drain, open it and the water will come out as the derv floats above being lighter.

It wont have caused probs IMHO, and TBH you probably picked this up on your last refill.
