Water in passenger footwell
Any ideas what might be causing this? Water appears to be dripping from underneath the dashboard, and out of the hinge at the bottom of the lower glovebox.
2015 HSE Luxury with 40k, had the car since November and not had any previous issues before some rain this morning.
Car as parked on a level (front to back) surface with a slight camber towards the passenger side.

Sorry to hear that Three ideas from where it might originate:
- sunroof
- A-pillar
- Cabin air intake behind the glove box
I’m guessing the third option is the culprit.
Open the lower glove box, press in on the clips so it drops even lower, remove the lid for the cabin air filter, remove the filter. If the water is coming in via this route you’ll know as the filter will be completely wet.

I had this last week as well.
I've checked the sunroof drains, and all running properly. If i pour water over the top corner of the windscreen, it starts to come in slowly.
I think mine is leaking from around the windscreen. I've got a windscreen company coming to have a look this week.

Have checked the filter and it is dry. Will move on to look at sunroof next.

I had Water in the footwell, replaced and checked what I could, as the sunroof drain was actually corroded. The car ended up in Landrover and after around 4 hours labour it turned out to be the passenger door seal, I wasn’t convinced this was correct but has been dry since. I tried talc and tissue to try and find the route of the water but just couldn’t trace it.2015 D4 HSE Loire Blue

Last night I poured water into the sunroof cassette which on the front nearside, which slowly drained out down at the rear of the front wheel arch, and there was no water in the footwell.
I also poured water all over the A pillar, including at the gap at the top where it meets the roof. No water in the car either.
I also poured it into/around the scuttle panel, again nothing.
I'll get the hose out later today and try something more extensive.

Have you checked the A/C drains, they exit the car above the gearbox. Pretty hard to see, but they're known to become blocked (in the D3, not sure about D4), resulting in the condensate from the A/C unit building up and coming out the top of the drain pipes, behind the carpet in each footwell.

That could very well be the case. How does one unblock it?

When I had this it was the scuttle/air intake. Water was getting under it and catching in the air intake (which actually overhangs into the water flow!) - it then leaks down into the fan and it then leaks out the bottom of the fan unit behind the carpet.
Simple fix of a piece of plastic (ice cream container lid in my case) to direct any water from the scuttle area away from the air intake. The other part of the fix was to improve the scuttle seal against the windscreen.
