If your cam doesn't have to be on the outside................ where the mud can stick across the lense, then I have a Jessop's £12 table top G clamp/ tripod that screws into the base of my very small Fuji F700 and that clamps onto the dash board lip. I have a 2Gb memory card (I know you cannot buy a 2Gb XD card in the UK but as a frequent visitor to Hong Kong................. and you can buy them on the www if you search worldwide on Google not just in the UK). The camera is high quality but palmsized and has a rapid focusing function, and in our climate it doesn't focus on rain drops on the windscreen which is a bonus! The memory card usually outlasts the battery's staying power when making video so having a couple of spare charged up batteries is wothwhile too.Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300
Helllo guys, I WILL SOON HAVE MY PAGE SETUP WITH ALL THE CAMERAS!
Resurecting a thread after 5 months with a first post trying to sell something.....
Anybody else smell something?

No problem JJB
Hows the Dominican Republic these days? I spent my honeymoon there back in September 89. We remember hurricane Hugo very well! We stayed at a place called Bavaro Resort, it was at the opposite end of the island to Santo Domingo. Great memories.

I would suggest you the ELMO SUV-cam(I've nothing to do with them)....I know that all of us don't like the word SUV,but it's really cool.
I have one for my racetrack days with the motorbike,it has the water resistant head with lens...I also use it to search for fish under the water while looking at the screen, and kinda good quality 768X480.
have a look
CIAOfiguring it out!!!!
the best feeling:getting airborne.

Found some useful camera options for recording off-roading jaunts. Some nice units here with several mount options, including bullbars\ roofrack mount. Remote control options too 8)
