Webasto 1533 timer.

Hi Guys,
I'm after some advise and/or help. I bought my 2005 Discovery3 HSE this time last year, I've had endless problems but I am getting there slowly.
My problem is I have the FBH fitted and working and the previous but one owner (Paul ?) fitted the 1533 timer and by reading posts and the email, he sent to the guy who I bought it off, (Lee), it seems he has fitted it as per the many posts on this subject. All seems to be correct. He has left the timer and the junction box in an enclosed unit in the box to the left under the bonnet.
Sadly the garage doing the repairs have somehow managed to lose the remote fob..

Can I buy a new one and if so does anyone know where from? I've hopefully added the photos of the 2 emails below so if you can help (or even better if you are Paul) I'd appreciate your help

Thanks in advance
Mike (aka WinkleBill)

There are lots of different remote operated switches, it all depends which one the original owner incorporated into the bespoke controller when he did the mod. Rolling Eyes

Your best option is to remove the remote switch and replace it with one that has its own blipper, problem solved. Probably only cost around £10 from eBay and is a very simple swap out once you know what you're looking at. Thumbs Up

You want something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-7A-Transmit...rk:18:pf:0

I am to electrics what Donald Trump is to politic's (useless Laughing)
I took these pictures a few days ago. Is the controller the square box? and is the oval one the programmable timer?

Yeah the oval item is the timer. Thumbs Up

There should be two wires out of the back of the timer. These are wired to the flame button and should go directly to the remote switch. Thumbs Up

Thanks Buddy!

I can see one wire going to the FBH (the yellow one) I'm not sure where the blue one goes.
I'm guessing the two wires you mentioned going to the back of the remote switch must be the coiled white cable in the earlier pictures..(I presume I can re-route/move this inside the cab and attach it to the dash for easy program access?)

My daughter has just "stolen" my car till the weekend as hers has broken down so I won't be able to check it till Saturday now Rolling Eyes

I've looked at your e-bay link and it looks as though that'll do the job. At that price I think I'll go ahead and order it anyway and then at least I'll have it here to swap out when and if I get my car back Saturday.

I'd tried to attach the video I took but it only loads to 37% then freezes so here are a few screen shots from it..

Thumbs Up
