Webasto Aux Heater coming on
Hi
I've noticed the last three or four days my Webasto Aux heater has been coming on by itself. I have noticed it is on when I have switched the engine off and this is after a short journey. Its goes on for two or three minutes before it turns itself off. I have checked the 7 day timer and there is no programmes set they are all set to off. Each time it has come on the outside temp has been around 5 to 6 degrees. I have checked the handbook and it doesn't mention anything about the heater switching itself on unless it is programmed to. Does anyone know if this is normal or does it mean a trip to the main dealer?

It's normal in cold weather When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

Hi,
thought I HAVE to look at this thread
makes a change from its Not coming on
as said if the Car decides it needs a bit of help to keep itself warm, it will fire up the FBH
during the last couple of weeks cold weather if there was a warning light to show when the fbh was running, there would be a few peeps surprised how often it comes on.
