Webasto got cleaned. still don't work.

Hi guys,
I'm having issues with my FBH on my TDV6. It used to not work at al and only ticked for few seconds and stop. It seems to be in locked when diagnosed. After clearing the faults and taking the unit apart and cleaning inside it still don't start. I have the oval timer but it won't start timed nor in auto mode. There is the whirr noise. Any ideas?

Ps: All seven criterias are met for the auto oprartion.

Try forcing air through the inlet to aid start up, has worked well for many owners.

Okay, will try as soon as possible. It did start today I could feel the warm (not hot at all) exhaust output with my hand but didn't really work.

Forced air didn't work. The unit starts and whirs for a minute then stops. I can feel the forced air coming through the exhaust. Maybe it's got something to do with the ambient temp sensor? Thank you for the tip though Thumbs Up

If it initially runs, forcing air thru it should get it running.
Keep trying, my own took about 20 attempts and got further each time until it eventually spluttered into life and ran normally.
Patience is the key. Wink

Ahhh okay. I only tried once. I'll keep trying tomorrow early in the morning when it's really cold. I just ordered VAG COM cable and downloaded the Webasto Thermo Test SW. The cable should arrive on 3rd of Jan.

A month later..

I tried almost everything and now I think the glow plug is no more.

I built a diagnostics cable and I'm able to reach the unit. When normal operation it locks it self out. With the WTT software I was able to test the unit and the pumps turned out okay when the glow plug reaches %1.5 it creates a fault and stops.

Attached are the test screen shot and the faults.
