Weird one - beeping sound around EPB area when exiting car

I can't find any other posts on this but I may be searching badly...

When I stop our D4 and get out after turning the ignition fully off, I can hear a beep beep beep noise from underneath the rear of the vehicle, around the EPB area I'd guess. It lasts for about 10-20seconds after I step out give or take.

Anyone know what it is?!
 Cheers,

Gareth

It’s the ad blue pump doing something routine, self priming I believe 👍

Mine also does this but when I asked Land Rover around a year ago they said it was something to do with the stop/start not working correctly but its all fixed now they said when I picked it up. Obviously it was not and still does it even though the stop/start was fixed, so good to hear its something else though no idea why they would make the ad-blue bleep as surely we don't need to know what its doing....do we?

I asked this years ago, sounds like a starship. All normal though and Adblu thing sounds plausible.

On the trucks, after ign off, the adblue set up is purging the injection line clear, so the adblue does not crystalise in the line and block it.
This can take a minute or so, some are much noisier than others.

Seems a good idea if thats the case but not sure why LR need to inform us of it with a beep? Is it dangerous or should we not touch the car whilst its in progress? They make it sound like an F1 Curs system where there is danger whilst it discharges. If the disco beeped whilst doing all its other processes it would never stop Rolling Eyes

Unless of course the beep isnt a beep and is just the pump priming and sounding like a beep? You’d think LR would know the answer...... Confused perhaps not!
