My second D3
Evening all, just got my second D3, 07 with 165K on the clock ... gulp ... but FSH and a massive collection of "no expense spared" receipts ... looks like new ... very happy ...
... Like the manual box but its a bit fluffy and crunch 1st and 2nd especially when cold .. any pointers there?

Welcome to all the newcomers
Disko - there is alots and lots of information on the forum, use the Search function at the top of the page and also the WIKI section (below the banners at the top of the page) as a starting point
Let us know how you progress with what sounds like a lot of work you've got to do.
In another post you mention sending a PM - I think you have to have a minimum of 5 (?) posts before you can send a PM to another member.
Thanks!
I just ordered the IID direct from duckworth, thanks for the heads up. Shouldn't be long before I can get the PM's active hopefully!

I bought this 2005 V8 Petrol last week. 1 owner, 55k miles and FLRSH.
It will be used primarily for camping trips next year with a couple of longer overland trips in the future.
Over the winter I will add a James Baroud roof tent, a cargo barrier, boot organisation, AT tires, dual battery system and a refrigerator as a minimum. Pending decisions are smaller 18" wheels (steel or alloy and only if they fit over the V8 brakes). If I can find them at the right price I'll add a RAI, nudge bar, rear steps and spots but no rush.
It will get an additional service before it's first long trip in the spring (bringing it from the UK to Norway for the Summer). A 'regular' service but was thinking of a gear box flush and a diff fluid change as extra, I'll be picking brains and open to hearing from experienced owners.....
Have a great day!
Graeme.

Hi guys, been on a few weeks but only noticed this thread so thought I'd say hi.
Names Kris, based in Ayrshire, recently bought a D4 as seen below after my Shogun fell apart. Photographer - mainly with horse events, so spend a lot of time in fields getting dirty.
Looking forward to tips, tricks, mods, and stealing ideas, lol

Hi All,
Just joined after viewing as a guest, the knowledge base on here is fantastic. Will be buying a D3 as soon as I can find the one I am looking for so it's off to the for sale section for me.
Cheers

Fantastic photo Kris! I believe there's a calendar organised by this forum. I guess it's too late for this coming year but certainly you should put it forward as a, very, early submission for next years...

Hi everyone. Half-way through replacing the rear timing belt (fuel pump) and having lots of probs getting access. If anyone can advise how to get the wiring loom out of the way so I can remove the cover I'll be in business! Cheers

Afternoon all. Just joined the ranks with a 2006 2.7 TDV6. My second Landy following a 110 that was just about clinging on to life a couple of years ago! Looking forward to getting stuck in to a few little jobs that need doing but very happy with it so far.
Cheers

Looks great and with low miles, Is the the one advertised on autotrader over the past few weeks? I’d love a V8.

New LR4 owner
Happy to own another Land Rover (2011 LR 4 HSE) First was a Disco 2 years ago.
I found this site whilst searching for a solution to determine if our LR4 has Bluetooth.
