I’m a diehard Land Rover enthusiast and have owned everything from Series vehicles, defenders and all variations of Discovery from 3 door commercial 200 tdi fitted with a 2” lift, winch, snorkel and mud terrain tyres, td5 series 2 es spec to my current td v6 manual Xs, which I love and hate in equal measures!

Hi,
I am new to the forum (and Land Rovers). I have recently bought a 55 plate Discovery 3. It isn't my daily driver, but I will be looking to try and get some use out of it.
Did an offroad induction day a while ago in the Discovery 2, but didn't really teach me anything. I hope to try a little bit in time.
I am not a mechanic of any sort so this is something I am starting out with little bits to try and build up to my own maintenance.
I had been looking up a few bits online before I made the purchase and quite a bit seemed to end up coming back to this forum so figured it must be the best place to join in.

Hi all
Just picked up a very high mileage Disco 3, first Land Rover but not my first experience of Land Rover so it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
It needs a bit of work and a good clean, but its a weekend project so will keep me busy over winter.
