Either your neighbourhood’s gone to hell in a handcart or that’s the FIBUA village on Da Plain?

I've finally joined the D4 club after many years of always having a "reason" not to have one.
Picked up a 16 plate landmark last Friday.
Also I apologise to people that I've PM'd and not responded, it seams I'm not getting notifications of replies.

Hello D4 Owners
Hi Everyone,
I have just (2 weeks) ago returned to the UK after spending 4 years living / working in the USA. Today, I have taken ownership of a MY16 D4 Landmark. Wanted one for a long time, and it drives as nicely as i had hoped. Looking forward to learning a lot from all the regulars.
Take Care
Darren

New old guy
Hi
Have been here a couple of times.
I used to be on the old LRO forum a few years ago.
Used to go ‘woodlands‘ not far from Brands hatch.
Did a couple of days with guys who used to meet at the Ship, green st green road.
Started off my Landy career with 3 classic Rangies, the last one seriously broke it off road, they were much too comfy.
Then went to S111, loved that one, stripped it rebuilt it took it off road, broke it, repaired it. 4 new engines, 3 new gearboxes. Sold that and the house and went skiing.
Moved up to a Disco 2 for some sort of grip in the snow in the alps.
Just spent 500 for the MOT and going to get expensiver next MOT, so flogging it.
Now on a Disco 3, bought today Ready to go into bank robbing

Hi all
I've been reading top tips and other help on this great forum for the last few weeks after just getting my 2009 D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 and I must say I love it. So I thought I'd join in the fun and frolics.
Not a stranger to the Green Oval, vehicles I've owned in the past include a series 3, 110 and 90 defender, TD5 Defender, P38 RR x 2 a 300TDI Camel Trophy Discovery LHD (which ended up in Belgium and was a serious bit of kit) a lovely P38 Range Rover "Holland and Holland" special vehicle and now my 2009 D3 2.7 TDV6 HSE with 140k.
The D3 has had a new gearbox, new air suspension complete, all bushes and other bits and bobs all before I bought it, thankfully!
Anyway I just wanted to say Hi, and thanks for the fabulous resource for all the tips, mods and fault finding threads. I served for 17 years in the military so have had my fair share of driving various beasts!
All the best, I look forward to joining in the fun here at Disco3.CO.UK

introduction
Hi,
I own a D4 HSE Luxury, love one and drive one if you will. Stornoway gray, and happy with it, after a troublesome start the love has grown so to speak.
here to read on some small issues I discovered (yeah, I did it....I made the joke) and appreciate to learn here what I can do to resolve these things.
cheers

Welcome to all the new and not so new green oval owners
DarrenC - that's a great looking car
Rocksteadee - as a previous green oval owner you already know the importance of bank robbing
borisjuric - if you want to post your issues on the appropriate section I sure the knowledgeable peeps on here will be happy to try and help resolve them
Captain - I imagine you are now enjoying driving a vehicle that's comfortable and no bangs or loud noises going off around you - oh wait, it's a Landrover
MacEd - with that sense of humour you're going to fit right in here Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
Limo Tint
Blackvue front & rear dashcam
Cruise control switch pack
Bodsy's remote for FBH

Bangs and bangers!
Hi Ianm27, thanks for the welcome, at least I have a bit more room in this one.
Cheers.

Evening all,
Been a member for a while and finally got around to introducing myself.
I became the proud owner of a 2010 D4 3.0 TDV6 XS after an extensive search for a capable tow car.
Found loads of useful stuff on here to date, the site really is a goldmine.
Thanks and happy motoring
Best regards
Dave

Hello all,
I think I just bought my favorite vehicle of all time, just gave up my 6 year younger super reliable Volvo for my LR3, I'm going though the honeymoon period and it feels so good.
This forum is fantastic, so much technical info on repairs and I think I'll be doing lots of repairs. Already purchased a GAP Tool, changed out the front axle valve block, sure there's many more to come.
Thanks for everyone's contributions.
Dan

Hi! Long time defender, disco 1 and 2 owner, last month picked this beauty up in Cornwall. 09 hse in drug dealer black, put to work pretty much straight away in my landscaping business.
Fitted a fixed toe bar, looking out for a roof rack and some more aggressive tyres over the scorpions on it. I’d like bfgoodrich but can’t find them in 19”?… crazy...
Couple of niggles- water feature in passenger footwell, lack of audio connection for phone..
Happy days!…
Cheers alex
