That's a very nice dark green, and it's a bit of a change from the blue shades you've had.
Enjoy ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Yes when my tyre man comes back to swap my wheels over he is going to fit the tpms valves
I love the colour, I was going to get a green one last time but changed my mind at the last minute so glad I stuck with the choice this time Cheers Ian

Mine also delivered to dealer this week.
Possible I could have it for the weekend...
depends if they can prep it quick enough.
Surely they only need an hour or two to valet it and quick check over...
What else does the dealer do to need them for 3 or 4 days ... go figure?

Being September and the number of new cars that have to go throughout the PDI/valet process, it's an understandable wait tbh. My dealer has exceeded his target of 200 new cars for the month. As you can imagine, it is a bit congested there at the minute. He is quoting a similar turnaround for our cars next week too.My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

"its an understandable wait tbh"
gotta disagree on that one I'm afraid.
you are saying exactly what i know - the valet/pdi process cant take 3 or 4 days, they have just sold a lot of cars (which they knew about in advance - indeed months in advance) so its hardly a surprise that they need a few more pdi/valet staff hours this month.
To take your argument even further you would say that if they had sold three times more cars it would then be perfectly reasonable for your car to stand in their lot for two weeks before they get round to spending the 2 hours to valet it..... and hand it over to you.
At what point would you think the extended wait is unreasonable?
My view is - any more than the two hours it takes!

Whaler, you are missing the point mate. Obviously a PDI/valet might only take 2 or 3 hours per car but when the number of cars going out in a short space of time increases, say for example, when the new reg change occurs then there will be an obvious increase in workload and therefore a waiting list to get all of the cars ready.
It doesn't matter if the dealer has prior warning or not. The increased volume of work in a concentrated period of time remains the same ! Obviously you are entitled to be ed off over the length of time the process takes but you can't argue with facts and logistics fella. Have you spoken tom your dealer and asked him why it is going to take so long? I'd bet he gives a broadly similar reason to the ones above
In any case, enjoy your car when it eventually arrives My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription
