I’ve recently done the same. Went from a twin axle crusader to a single axle coachman 575 vip in 2015. Wife decided there are only two of us now so we don’t need to drag that big th8ng!
Really missed the twin axle so went back to a twin axle swift elegance 650 about a month ago.
Managed to convince her we need an end bedroom.
Used it three nights and away again after bank holiday rush is over to give it another trial. All good so far.

People fret about the size of the twin axles but the extra room and greater towing stability are well worth it . They look very cool on the back of a disco as well 8)MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

As you say greater stability and once towing the size does not matter it just follows you.

Size inside, fixed bed and great stability with the ALKO ATC on a twin axle makes them tow a treat. All the best with the new van

Thaks all, we cant wait to pick it up, I know we have another week to wait before we pick it up but got our old one empty and ready to go, we had a twin wheel Bailey before and did the same, wife said we dond need a big twin wheer any more, so we down sized to a single and then thought we dont need the Disco 3 either so went for a Freelander 2, now 2 years later going back the other way, Disco 4 and a twin wheeler.Serbian Silver 2011 Discovery 4 HSE SDV6 8 speed auto
