Looks amazing. What route do you take and how many days do you take to get there? Are you towing or getting a static/lodge? D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

That's an epic road trip
Was thinking about taking the girls there in the caravan but I don't think we could manage that trip in 1.5 days with two 2 year olds! Will remember it for the future thoughD4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Looked a good RT.
Never driven down that way since heading to Greece & back through Yugoslavia driving a TD 110, in 1990 I think. Was “interesting” then.

We have two girls and took them all over Europe from the same age, but we traveled shorter distances then, the wife sleeps and I get the boss to her destination as quickly as possible as for the girls they still Come on holiday but I have to buy them plane tickets and taxi them about lol next year we will have two daughters two son in-laws and two grandsons apparently flying out for a free holiday

Was planning that same trip for this year to the same site but missus got cold feet with all the possible brexit crap affecting Dover Calais so we came down to Royan instead.
On the cards for next year though.

It wasn’t heading to Europe that we thought might be an issue if brexit had gone ahead on March just that the crossing likely to be most affected and the one we would use to head to Italy being dover would/could be , whereas Portsmouth and the west coast of France we thought less likely to be impacted.
As it turns out everything out if the window until Oct😉

Well I am so glad I have a different outlook, as ventured out from Dover in May to Calais for our Croatian trip, I do believe that there’s going to be a little disruption but no more or less then the French give us know

Have a good trip. I love Lake Garda. Used to sail there a lot.
This is one trip. SB3 Worlds (7m one design keel boat with thumping big sail area ). I loved the irony that the SB3 was sponsored by the VW Toureg but pulled by Land Rover
Rudder flew off going down wind at 18 knots just after the picture with the kite up was taken
We came very close to sinking but it was repaired overnight.
