From my experience it could still be the sunroof drains.
On mine if you poured water in at the sunroof tray the majority would still come out at the back of the wheel arch.
Using this test I thought mine were ok but the carpets stayed wet.
The problem is the end of the tube rots and lets some of the water in to the car.
If you put high volumes of water down and the tube is still aligned with the hole most will still flow out of the car.
Unfortunately the passenger side is hard to get to as you have to remove the cjb.
Good luck and I hope you get it sorted in the end

What I done although water was draining freely out of mine or seemed to be. I got two small water bottles filled one and marked where water level was on empty one then as I tipped water down each hole I positioned other bottle to catch the draining water to see if what was going in was the same that was coming out.
It turned out that the problem on mine was a partially blocked drain on from pas side and where it’s parked on my drive it leans in a way that all the water ends up in that corner and because it wasn’t flowing away quick enough it was filling up sun roof surround and ending up in roof lining and draining down pillar to the floor.
