Wet Floor - again (FOUND IT !!)
Sorry to bring this back but I've got the wet floor problem (well soaking actually)
Drivers side footwell, after checking all the reasons as per previous posts I finally discovered what the problem is but don't know how to fix it
The front sunroof drain tube does not exit the vehicle under the air intake. I gently fed a drain cleaning wire into the drain and guess what - it appeared next to the wiring loom at the bottom of the A pillar. Exactly above where the carpets appear wettest.
The next question then - how do I get to the bottom of the drain tube, where doe it leave the car body ??
Before I go anywhere near doing unspeakable things with the dash - can anyone help me out
Thanks
Steve

have you taken the A pillar trim off to have a look ?
on the trim there is a plastic cap marked AirBag - prise it open and remove the TORX screw the trim will come off and the drain tube can be seen.
I cant recall but there might be a join at the bottom of the trim Duncan

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

Hi DiscoDunc,

is it the drivers side - have you got an RAI ?
sometimes the RAI can squash the drain tube if its not been fitted properly, but it sounds as the pipe has split or come disconnected from a join.Duncan

FOUND IT !!
Whey hey
Managed to find the offending 'break' and all now sorted !!
Removed lower dash panel and up above the accelerator pedal wiring loom is the 'exit' for the sunroof drain. The down pipe had become detached from the rubber exit 'bend' and was just draining into the cabin. I suspect it has been doing this for some time and was a direct result of a windscreen change. There is liitle (no) slack on the drain pipe and it's only a light push fit into the exit bend, any movement on the pipe will dislodge it and then you've got a wet floor.
If I can take a piccy I will but it's very tight and cramped in there. I hope this may help where others have had this issue.
I'll keep you posted to see if it sorts it once and for all.
Phew
