Not a bad price. Turbo incl?? (in case you join CFT), also see if you can get "No Betterment" thrown in. ISTR paid £550 each for 2 D3s with 13 months cover. Extracare.

Anyone know if a GS is cheaper than say an HSE as there is far less to go wrong, same with auto or manual? i.e. are prices model dependent?

They called back to confirm this morning.
Does include Turbo, Airbags and Emissions at a franchise dealer.
£43 a month rolling contract.
I thought it was a fair price to be honest.... couldnt really ask for more (did ask him to make it £40 flat .. told no).07 Disco 3 HSE ... JB with EB

That's pretty good, by rolling I assume that after the initial 12 months (?) it would then continue every month until you or WD pulled the plug?? I'd be interested in that but concern would be what are WD's termination options/attitude in case of a big claim. Worth a thought though as quite a few peeps here will be renewing their first year after the demise of Tesco.

WD quoted £720 for my HSE with repairs carried out by LR dealers, covering" almost everything," I felt that it was too close to LR's own extended warrantee ( £880) which also included LR Assistance, and seemed more transparrent, so that is what I did.

Did you give them your "proper" phone number or the "random" one that guarantees no junk phone calls?? Day after I did the online bit got phone call to say "special offer" which formed start point for haggling. Mentioned this forum, got more discount, added No Betterment, cost £50 but got me an extra month, then was told this was a "to get this special price buy now" ultimatum. I told him to phone back in 48 hours with that offer (so I could look through their T&C & on here) and sure enough they did. Although I took out policies for 2 cars, several peeps on here used my policy as a reference and they got same immediately. Seeeeemples. John, will dig out my ref & email it to you, if you go ahead quote me as referring you, might get our beers paid for next weekend.
