This may seem an odd question, but when people have their wheels refurbished, which takes a couple of days what do they do with the car. I don't fancy leaving it on axle stands in the drive.
I fancy getting my wheels refurbished soon or powder coated if it last longer.

I have a set of wheels you can borrow while yours are done if that helps... Not far from you. Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Thanks XTC , that would be great. We have another car so we wouldn't do any miles any mile on them. I will do some phoning around to find the best place to get the refrub done.
I was thinking powder coating would be the best.

If I kerb one I drive to the wheel place and then use the spare.
I have never had more than one done at one time nor powder coated though. .

Let me know when you need them. No problem with running around on them, they are my standard road tyres so won't be going back on until I sell the car. Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

When I had the wheels on my last Discovery (TDi300) powder coated (after 4 or 5 years when they started to look rough) I did it a wheel at a time and it took approximately 2 weeks to get them all done. I would not fancy leaving a vehicle up on 4 axle stands. What amazed me was the quantity of sets of wheels that they were refurbishing for dealers.

The narrow space savers are dead cheap on eBay. You could always just but four of those and use them as a temporary measure 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

stay away from powder coating....
the best finish is a two pack paint BREXIT - done properly.

T. Try thewheelspecialist.co.uk. They have places up and down the country and can do a same day service. Just drive in and leave your car there for the day. They will drop you in town and call you when done. I have used these and they did a good job, although I just dropped my wheels off. Only took one day.

I'll second that stevie,
they did mine and a very 8) job they did to.
PS - don't take the first price they offer, there is room to haggle a bit if you are sensible I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
