Hi all,

Will these Disco Sport HSE 18" alloys fit on a disco 3?

Do you know if the LR133250 from the new Defender will work on the Discover 3? They have 255/60/20 tires so I believe I will need a lift at minimum.

Thank you

They will fit fine, no rubbing in normal driving. I don't know if the wheels will hit the arches at full suspension compression or immobilise the vehicle if your air fails (body resting on wheels instead of bump stops) but I drive every day with 32" in standard height no lift with no issues. I need to turn full lock to get in and out of my steep driveway and have no problems.

You can also still drive with a bit of turning in Access Mode but haven't tested full-lock - eyeballing it I think it will make contact.

This is only because the new Defender wheels have increased offset - similar to running spacers. 32" tyres with the standard D3 offset and no spacers will rub.

R17 back to R19 wheels...

Hi everyone. So I currently have on my Disco3 some 17" wheels, with Cooper Discoverer STT pro tyres on (265/70/R17), but I want to get some more road-friendly wheels & tyres for summer and when doing longer journeys etc.

I've been looking for some 65/R18 or 60/R20 as believe they are the most similar in terms of overall diameter/circumference, but haven't had any luck for local, reasonably priced ones. But I do have the chance to get some 255/55/R19s from an old L322 Range Rover...

Believe these will mean speedo etc will be c.5% out (assuming it was altered when the R17s were first put on!), but otherwise would I be ok to run these??

Any help / advice much appreciated....

Cheers!

Thanks Al,

Do you think it would be a problem to fit 255/55r20's to these or should I stick with the 255/50r20's. The only reason I am asking is the load rating on the 255/55's is 110 instead of 109.

Thanks

Sylfest

I know it's an old comment, but maybe you're still here... did you end up putting on those rims? I found a set for good price and considering buying it. Just curious how it would look
