You must have read my mind
Just sent a follow up email to say exactly that, will let you know if I get a reply, even offered cash or debit card rather than paypal to save 10% ebay seller fees to make the offer more appetising

Uncle Ray's Helsport is an awsome tent. I watched him take it down at the Peaks. It packs down to nothing (unlike an Oztent) and the cente pole is beautifully engineered so it all its consituent parts slide slide neatly inside each other. I don't think they're cheap, but they're really impressive. Oh and it has astove and a chimney! How cool is that.
cheers

I agree with Duncan, I have a 6 berth pod tent that has fitted ground sheets on the pods but not in the main area and I hate it, should never of bought it, but I didn't know at the time.
The ease of the Oztent either models appeals to me

thanks all for the messages, im definitely sold on the oztent
my preference is the RV5 but the price seems pretty static with little discounts. The Jet tent F30 seems to be discounted in a few places and if i can nail one cheap enough I will put up with the few quirks that have been mentioned as the extra saving will get me some side awnings and go towards a nice lantern / camp bed
If anyone has a mint RV5 for sensible money then please PM me with the details and cost ....................................................................................................
