which pads?
Just had a look at the advanced factors site, very confused.
How do I know which pads I need for the front only? TRW or B&B
Also is it a good idea to replace wear indicator wire or can the current ones be used again?

Thanks
Nick

I went with the TRW pads and Brembo discs.
Very pleased with them.
I got the wear indicator kit too, no idea what the old kit was like as I didn't replace them myself.

If the brake pad warning hasn't illuminated, you should be able to re-use the wire.2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

No warning light, had tyres changed this morning and tech said they were getting low.
Had a look, I have ferodo pads at the moment, still none the wiser as to what they should be replaced with

Looks like the original part number is LR051626 and so either:
would be okay. But if you're in any doubt, give Steve a call.
Ferodo are the original fitment but I don't think AF stock them.2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I've just put a genuine set of LR pads in mine £144 with a new wear sensor the parts came too. LR/ferodo/TRW stamped on them!
It's under LR warranty so I decided to use genuine parts just in case.

Be gentle with the wear sensor. The plastic becomes brittle with age and snaps easily. If you can avoid having to replace it then don't. Getting behind the wheel arch liner is a pain. Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.
