Andy, what's your price on the MTR out of interest?
(few thousand to go from our Scorpions, planning ahead)Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

Untill I run out of my current stock of 255/55x19 MT/R's, the fitted and balanced price is £158.62 INC VAT (£135.00plus VAT) each.
The new stock will be more money as and when I need them.
The stock I have is only available for fitting or collection.

I am new to this list and would like to latch onto this tyre discussion. I am looking for tyres with better off-road capability than the standard Goodyear Wrangler HP 255/55R19 fitted to the Disco 3 V8 HSE (I have the TDV6 HSE but the previous owner fitted the V8 wheels). The suggested Goodyear Wrangler MTR looks great, but I am weary of high noise and lack of grip on wet tar due to its aggressive tread. Any experience with the MTR and/or other suggestions? Is there a tyre available in South Africa which is something in between the HP and MTR? Any idea on where to get a good price in the Pretoria, South Africa area? Thanks!
