Hi,
i am rather new to D3's although my former LR was a D2, still new to this D3 forum.
good knowledge found allready! and maybe i can contribute also a littlebit
i use to have a business in Parking Heaters, although i did ended that business for 10 years from now.
i still have some knowledge..
in my search to upgrade the FBH to a full parking heater, i did find a lot of info here, rather a few good looking aftermarket solutions, etc.. but what i did not find/see is the official Webasto solution to make the cabin fans work with a Webasto IPCU.
i did see the Altox solution, very neat but not very cheap.. the Webasto IPCU can be bought on the german ebaykleinanzeigen.de new for around € 50 specific programmed for your discovery.. or brand new from Webasto for around € 80 i saw.
for a 1533 timer (and if wanted) + a GSM remote ofcourse, but that can be the brand of your choice..
to be short: i have added a translated Webasto workshopmanual to the gallery in .pdf specific for LR Disco3 and RR sport
