Will 18" wheels fit over BREMBOS with spacers?

I am about to collect my G4 D3 next week and I was wondering if I would be able to fit 18" wheels to it.

I have a set of 6 genuine LR wheels from my old D3 SE with GENERAL AT2 fitted. I have ordered a set of MATZKER spacers and I believe that I will be able to fit the 18"s. I have seen that DUCKWORTHs managed to fit a set of RR 18"s to their G4 using these spacers.

As I live in an arid part of Spain and only off road in North Africa, I did not want to fit the 19" GOODYEAR MT/Rs, as the G4 won't be seeing much mud.

Any help greatly appreciated Smile

The V8 D3s don't have Brembo brakes (unless retro -fitted). So, if it has the original brakes, 18" is no problem.

I imagined the G4 V8 had the larger brakes fitted hence the use of 19" wheels and the MT/R. This is great news. I can use my 18" rims. Thanks!

unless the G4 has has some extra mods, the D3 doesnt have Brembo's fitted to any model, it the RRS that does, although you can fit Brembo to the D3 without any problems.

V8's do have larger brakes, thats why you can't fit the 17" wheels Wink

V8's and TDV6 have the same fromt calipers, just the V8 has a 337mm disc and the V6 has a 317mm disc (they both have the same backplate though). You can fit V8 front discs to a TDV6 by using the V8 caliper brackets (I've done this on my TDV6). Neither V8 or TDV6 use Brembo.
