I thought in the normal speed version he said 'people' and in the slowed down version he said 'woman'.
Anyway ...in these days of equality what do you call a man or woman, who is in your opinion, stupid?

I don't really care what he said, it's the hypocrisy and then subsequent lying (IMO) that's the issue for me.

Well to determine if he was 'lying' you would of course require absolute proof and you don't have that

You're right it won't be proved. For me however the proof is how Corbyn says the "p" when he says "stupid", as explained by a lip reader and then watching one of the numerous online videos.
Hague called (or mouthed the words) some Labour MP, I can't remember who, a stupid woman. The difference is he admitted it and later apologised.

To see ...but not heard  ...so not 100% evidence.
Even 'expert' lipreaders will tell you that suppressing mouthed actions when muttering something under your breath doesn't always relate the same word identifiers.
As said in my initial post, I can see it either way. 100% Woman suits the narrative of others though

I don’t like Corbyn and you will interpret the lip movement exactly how you like. I have seen the video and I can see “silly” BUT NOT “Woman”
You know the sad thing, I was looking online for a crimbo pressie for my wife and searched Dubarrys web site, like most firms they have a section “Women’s Jackets” Now the silly thing is I am now getting conscious that I am perhaps being sexist and demeaning even by looking at such a section, then I thought don’t be a “silly man” get a grip!
Bottom line, are you trying to tell me that’s any different from using woman as in “Stupid Woman?” snowflakes, even on here! Pathetic.

It's being played by the Tories as an attempt to deflect attention and waste time in the House before the recess. Total pantomime tactics and entirely obvious to everyone watching.
As for the phrase "stupid woman" - this is no way in the same ball park as the bullying that has gone in Parliament and which is being used as an excuse to blow this event up. If he had called a male MP "silly man" or had a female MP said that to a male MP, there would be no shouting.

I haven't picked up on anyone on this thread being offended by Corbyn's words.
The issue I have is that the Leader of the Opposition is prepared to lie (IMO) at the despatch box. Which, again IMO, is not remotely comparable to a retailer offering "women's jackets" for sale.

RRSTD hit the nail on the head.
As for the rest of you, if believe it was “Woman” you take it Corbyn is a liar and failed the integrity check, that’s fine, you probably think the guys a wa er without that incident.
On the other hand if you’re not sure or think he didn’t use “Woman” and even think Corbyn is a wa er anyway, you’ll be like me and wonder what all the fuss is about.

Well for starters it's against Parliamentary rules to call another member a liar. Although Rachel Maclean got up and said "Read my lips, I do not believe him". which Bercow admonished her for.
As for no intervention, it sparked an angry intervention which went on for minutes and which Bercow struggled to control.
