They will not fit only 2 tyres??

So my rears are worn more on the outer edges and there was an offer on goodyear tyres, so I ordered two ont'internet. When I went to have them fit I was told it is not possible - 4 at a time only... and now the offer has expired.

So - is this true - if so will I be causing issues now as the fronts are less worn?

My plan now is to swap the front and rears (which will wear the outside edge equally) - then renew the 4 with a full alignment later - does this sound like a good plan?

Cheers,

Of course you need to buy 4 from them, more sales for them. Find a different tyre shop. Thumbs Up

No I am in France, the tyres are good for a couple of months it was just that there was a good offer of 115 gbp per tyre for goodyear wrangler HP 111V which wasn't bad..

Is the outer wear just an alignment issue (it is not so excessive)?

Was an issue on freelander that having odd tread depth caused the vcu to fail due to differing tyre diameter but the disco has an open centre diff so not really an issue but the tyre dealers probably ain’t aware of that

Make no difference front to back on a Disco, on the same axle it my cause a problem if there is an extreme difference.
Excessive wear on the outside points to worn rear top bushes.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
