Windows Open by themseleves when Left Overnight

We have been waking up in the morning to find all 4 windows open on the Discovery 4. No idea what is causing it but it recently went in for repair to repair some corroded fuel sensors. Its been happening 3 nights in a row now. Doesn't seem to happen in the day though. Can anyone highlight if this is a known fault or whether its easy to fix?

Could be a fault in your central junction box or your key fob ...either could be activating a Global open command Smile 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Appreciate the quick reply. I wasn't aware I could open all 4 windows using the keyfob. Can you explain how this is done? I have 4 buttons. Lock, unlock, boot open and, headlights on and a warning button.

Hold the unlock and they come down. Hold the lock and they all go up. A quick press of unlock gives you access to the owner's manual.

Not sure now when they became standard....but pop out where you can see the vehicle then press and hold the unlock button on the fob for about 10 secs ...the windows should all open at the same time ...then press and hold the lock button for the same amount of time and they should all close at the same time Smile

I think you can disable global opening in the menu, saves you opening the windows by leaning on key in your pocket.

I can't remember which models have it.

Brilliant thanks will check this out. I did actually jump in a pool with the keys in my shorts a few weeks ago so it could be I've Censored the fob.
