Windscreen-small chips

My heated windscreen is fairly well covered in small stone chips Big Cry Is this just my good luck? Any suggestions for a good glass cleaner product and does anyone have an idea about windscreen replacement costs? D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

Hello, welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy you're Land Rover as much as me! We both have Stornoway GS D4's and had Black D3 before! What a coincidence! I am unaware of any products that would sort out the chips on your windscreen!
However a replacement for a one with elements ranges from 500-700 pounds the last time I checked!

Both live in the North East so hope to see you around!

Insurance for the windscreen - either try to get them filled with resin or just have it all replaced. Will only cost the glass excess on your insurance normally. 2014 D4 XS

I'd probably be tempted just to get it replaced rather than fill lots of chips with resin Confused

If you're excess on insurance is low it'll work out a LOT cheaper than paying for the windscreen yourself!

I have a chip in my D3 had it resin filled! looked worse! hit it with a hammer and get it replace via your insurance! Whistle did I really say that? 2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)
