Windscreen weatherstrip

Hi Guys

The plastic strip closing the gap between the windscreen and roof has lost grip on one side. Unsightly but also causing wind noise.

How to fix? Sealant/new one/double-sided tape??

Many thanks.

Is the gap between the plastic strip and the car roof or between the plastic strip and the glass of the window?

The gap is a channel between the windscreen and the leading edge of the roof. It looks as though the plastic strip is meant to wedge itself in.
