Windscreen Wiper Travel

Took my D4 in for its first service, and switched on windscreen wipers a couple of days later. The windscreen wiper in front of the driver travels about 15 degrees less than it used to and the maximum reach is vertical (12 o'clock) rather than the old 1 o'clock position.

Anyone else have this problem? Has this been changed by the dealership on purpose?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds as if they have taken the whole wiper arm off and put it back aligned onto a different spline position.

Might be error or they might have run them and felt it was hitting the screen surround at the 1 o'clock position and thus re positioned it.

The maximum deflection can change because of wip in the sytem, especially in different conditions such as heavy rain and fast wiper speed and fast vehicle speed when aero effect can flex the blade further over.

My moneys on the dealer-cock-up theory though Laughing
