Wing mirror indicators
I just fitted the 2015 D4 wing mirrors and noticed the indicators are barely visible in daylight. The front and side indicators are twice as bright. Is that how they are? I was going to blank off the side repeater but will leave it now.

Had a look at some youtube videos and they are the same as mine. Thought I must have had the wiring wrong but unfortunately not .

I got them second hand Mez. They come in different parts when purchased new, not as one single piece.
I put some led's into them so they are visible in daytime

Hi - Do you have any part numbers? Also what extra wiring needed to be done to get the indicators to work?
Can you use RR or RR sport and evoque mirrors?
Thanks!

There was a thread somewhere on here with similar symptoms on a D3 conversion... can’t remember outcome. Search is your friend Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Would the mirrors with side repeaters be a straight Plug and Play retrofit on a 2010 D4?

yes straight(ish) fit - you'd need to re-route side indicator cables to new mirrors - been done and documented a few times on the forum Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Does anyone have a part number or know where to buy these? I’m going to attempt retrofitting these on my 2012 with the cameras - I believe I’ll have to retain and use the original camera and try to squeeze them into the new housing. Hopefully it all goes well. Thanks

Surround plastics that attach the wing mirror to the A pilla
Yes for the cover but the mirrors body has different P/N on JLR Ecat.....
I’m sure electronic connections are similar / same but the surround plastics that attach the wing mirror to the A pillar is different and this is why you can only use LR4 type wing mirrorsDiscovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

They should bolt straight up. I just need a housing part number for one with heat, electric, video and puddle lamp. I can add the motor and glass later.
Thanks!

No,
Covers, glasses, main mirror body (head) and electronic connections are similar/same but the surround plastics that attach the wing mirror to the door A pillar is different and this is why you can only use D4/LR4 type wing mirrorsDiscovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
