tried blowing ours through (after the same as everyone else, leave all the taps and drian tap open on the journey home), and got no water out at all and can hear water gurging in the pipes as the air passes it.

Will leave it at that

A thought just occured to me that for all those people bothering with MTPM worries, that's two pounds avoirdupois blown away.

Winter Drain Down

Recently returned from Christmas/New Year trip with van and drained down and opened all valves and taps on-site before journey home.

Just used the Floe system to drain off completely and still found 1.5 pints of water in the system.

It's well worth it to me should we have a very cold spell over next two months even though we leave the heating on a low setting. Only takes but a few minutes to do each time.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Recently watched the floe video of their new installed system, anyone here got one? What do others think? I'm considering as I had a pump damaged 2 years ago.

Drain Down using Floe System

Hello Klinkhammer

As you will have seen my post above yours, I have no hesitation in recommending and using this facility. Works well for me and far better than the cost of a new boiler/water repair!!

Seeing you are in snow land, I suggest you don't hesitate!

Forget all the other fancy reasons why not to use it, the price is reasonable (about £45.00, I think) considering the savings the use of it can make in avoiding damage and the vast inconvenience of taking van to dealership for any repair, as well as their final bill!

I don't have any connection with the manufacturers; I am just grateful they can produce something that I could not make for myself!

Think I'm convinced, they have a new kit which includes an installed compressor which looks really good, downside is cost approx £200. Then again the new van was really £30k so think I'll go for it as once fired is a press one button on the van.
Thanks for your reply.
