wire in footwell

Hi, while hoovering out the water in my passenger footwell again, (checked, air con , sunroof tubes, pollen filter, outside A post, windscreen seal still unable to find it) I found this light grey wire dangling. I may have dislodged it when pulling up the carpet. Cant seem to see any connectors that it could reach to put back in. everything seems to be working just wondering if anyone has access to wiring diagram or could check thiers. Its a 54 tdv6 auto Hse, thanks, should be a picture below.
or go here http://www.robocop.co.uk/wire.JPG as I dont seem to be able to get it to work, sorry.

hi,
I was thinking it may be that but cant get to where it goes through the body on the inside, have you managed to get to it. It seems high up the dash.
thanks

hello keith

no i couldent find where it goes think the dash may have to come out
but as a temperary measure i extended the drain tube and ran it
through the gromit in the floor wich runs outside aint the perfect remedy
but its better runing outside rather than inside

Not sure what that wire is or where it's come from. Is that some blue PVC tape nearby on the loom? It may be the tape over a loom repair. Is your car second hand? It may be the remains of a tracker fixing perhaps?

"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

thanks for the replies, I may try and get the top glove box off if possible to find the pipe, I assume you just pulled it out and added to it then.
Yes it is second hand looks like something has been done down in that area, tracker is a good idea. Thanks.
