Wish it was Saturday
Hi all,
My last car was a Freelander 2, but have just bought a used Discovery 4 XXV with just under 30,000 on the clock.
Such a huge leap from my Freelander, which was struggling a little with towing my 2 ton Caravan ( Buccaneer Schooner) But it managed it for several long trips.
Just need to get a tow bar fitted to the XXV, luck has it the XXV that we loved has never had one fitted.
Dealer suggested I don't use Land rover as they are £900.00, which is a bit steep ?
seen them online for £ 250.00 swan neck type, Plus electrics costs.
Question do I need to get land rover to program the tow assist feature when I get the electrics and tow bar fitted?
Second, get a fixed, not removable towbar, have a search around on here, they're often for sale, as are electrics.
As for the CCF edits etc, there are members (sponsors) on here who can do that at a fraction of the cost, not au fai with your location, but I'm sure there is one of us who can help , are you in Kent?
Third, get an RLD spare wheel protector (again Ray RLD is on here)'you don't want the skate going missing , just search spare wheel protector Altox GSM FBH controller thread
