Shocked Wow!

Thanks for the update!

Getting quoted £650 and 2-3 week lead time from an indie in the Midlands…. Bit more than I want to pay and longer than I want to wait! Oh the dilemma.

I didn't think the job was too hard, just tight spaces and a whole lot of things that had to be removed/ reinstalled that made it really time consuming.

I have exactly the same problem myself. Manifold changed , now sat on the drive and won’t start.

I know ppl don’t like to use it but I’d connect another large vehicle with jump leads and use abit of easy start whilst cranking it over to bring it back to life
My opinion only
Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes, pads, callipers, flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

I’ve already tried that and it will run off brake cleaner. 🤔☹️

Did anyone ever get theirs sorted without a new hp fuel pump?

Mine is dragging on for 3 weeks now without starting after a manifold change. Tried all sorts without success.

Including trying my most hated thing of all. Easy Start Big Cry

I've just spoken to a local indie and hes told me to check out the cam shaft position sensor, and if I've no joy then to get it over to his workshop. He's got a 3 week lead time though. But anything is better than the position I'm in now
