Working on the D4 with doors open

Hi Chaps how can you put the D4 in sleep mode so when you unlock the motor you can easily work away with the doors open without the worry of draining the battery?

The interior lights don't seem to switch off after a period and the dash screen lights up and stays active but does switch off after a while but the interior lights remain on.

Any help much appreciated Wink

Not sure you can completely shut it down with the doors open but have read about people working on them with a battery charger connected. As for the interior lights if you press the centre button on the front lamp assembly and keep it pressed until it bongs and a message pops up on the display in front of the steering wheel. This turns all the interior lights off and stops them from coming on automatically when a door opens, you will have to do the oposite to turn them back on Thumbs Up
 Cheers Ian

It depends what work you are doing but if you're keeping the doors open for an extended period I would disconnect the battery.
