Hi, I have got the chance of getting a pair of disco 3 xenon light units and want to know if I can bolt them straight on to my disco 3 S, the reason I'm asking is that my local dealership seems to think that it's not so straight forward as just bolting them on, I think that they are telling me this so they can try and stitch me up with a costly retro fit job.
Any advice would be greatly welcomed
Dave.

Hi Dave,
I believe that you can just replace them your self, no need for the dealer to be involved. See the following thread for more information.

Are they on ebay as I know a few of the guys are after some Xenons? The forum members have a kind of unwritten rule not to bid against each other on ebay (if that's where they are)
Either way they are a straight swap (although not possible with adaptive units), I just did it and they are well worth it !! 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Xenons well worth the time energy and money, and as everyone else said, so long as they're not adaptive, they're a straight swap. Just check they're aligned either on a wall, MOT station, or dealer.
