Hi All,
IIRC my TDV6 exhaust joins together before splitting again to go to the two tailpipes. This means that, if I wanted to use such a unit via my exhaust, I would have to seal off the other tailpipe.
Take a look at this thread Peter and search the site for 'exhaust bung' for more. I'm sure NoDo$h would ship one down under for youThe End

Discowex,
I have one and I never leave home on a 4WD trip without it. Its made several "rescue" attempts easier including a Ford F-250 stuck in wet sand on beach, a mate who suffered major side rail damage, needless to say he now has rock sliders and a somebody stuck in mud, neither he nor I had a winch. Easy to lift a vehicle and clear out loose rocks, mud or sand and place something under the wheels. I use it to swap or rotate tyres, easier to lift 2 wheels and the OEM jack is too wobbly for my liking
In my opinion a recommended buy, I also carry a plumbers pipe stopper to block the 2nd exhaust.

as the man said, nip down to your plumbers and get one of these
Or I can sort one for you with a twin seal one with a brass top cap and steel wingnut that doesn't need you to wrap anything around it for less than the UK single unit price for a retail punter at a plumber's supply centre. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Update
Got an email back from the US roverparts.com people ( $249) to say that postage for a single unit would be $120 , So call it $ 370 USD.Equates to £190 and thats BEFORE any duty tax has been added.
The UK retail outlet price is £166 + VAT , which ,makes it a no brainer.
The Pangea Expeditions ( US) price , $219 equates to approx £112 again before postage & tax.
probably a silly question here:
would a bushranger exhaust jack do the trick with a D3 ?
http://www.bushranger.com.au/exhaust_jack.php
simply because I found one @ 150EUR .. about 114GBP or 223USD
thanksD4

Hi,
Craig's is an X-Jack I suppose, the one I'm looking at, is the earlier version .. 'exhaust jack' .. that's probably why it's that cheap as well ..
it's in Dutch only, unfortunately http://www.4x4unlimited.nl/pivot/entry.php?id=49D4

I have the x-jack and I purchased the exhaust bung from NoDo$h. Bung works great.
My problem is keeping the connector on the 2nd exhaust - I just can not get it to hold and therefore stay UP 2007 LR3 HSE - Zermatt Silver
